Best location imaginable on the South Shore.  Only 500 yards from the Tahoe Rim Trail, which offers some of the best hiking and mountain biking in the world.   Easy access to Heavenly Ski Resort (don’t bother with the traffic!) and minutes to casinos, shows, restaurants, and the great Tahoe night life.  Three miles to Zephyr Cove, the best beach in Tahoe.  Eleven pristine golf courses nearby, including Edgewood Tahoe (home of the American Century Championship) and others designed by Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones, & Robert Trent Jones Jr..  

Winning bidder has 18 months from event date to plan their stay.  The house books from Saturday to Saturday, on a “first come, first served” basis, 52 weeks per year.

Lake Tahoe played host to the 1960 Winter Olympics, and is perhaps best known for winter skiing and snowboarding at world class winter resorts such as Squaw Valley, Heavenly Valley, Alpine Meadows, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Kirkwood and Mt.
